Straight answers for editors who have a timeline open.

01What does Depickle create?

Choose a clip and Depickle returns aligned, lossless stems to your Premiere timeline. Use the two-stem split for vocals and music, or the deeper split for drums, bass, and everything else.

02How clean is the separation?

Depickle's algorithm does its best to separate every track as cleanly as possible, but results will not be perfect 100% of the time. Depending on the mix, some vocals may bleed into the music or instrumental stem, and some music may remain in the vocal stem. After separating with Depickle, we recommend cleaning up the vocal stem with a third-party tool such as ElevenLabs or Adobe Podcast Enhance.

03Does my media get uploaded?

No. Separation runs locally on your Mac, so footage and audio stay on your machine.

04Will the stems stay in sync?

Yes. Every stem starts at the same source time and lands aligned with the original clip. You can cut between the full mix, vocals, music, and individual stems without nudging them into place.

05Which systems are supported?

The current release is for macOS and Adobe Premiere Pro. Windows support is not included yet.

06What happens when I process the same clip again?

Depickle reuses its local cache when it can, so revisions are quicker and do not repeat work unnecessarily.

07Is this a subscription?

No. Depickle is a one-time purchase. The launch price is $19 through October 10, 2026, then $39.
